Free, confidential student counseling services are available to currently registered students. Office hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., during the Spring and Fall semesters when classes are in session. The Student Counseling Center office is located in Room 309 in the Science Building.
The Student Counseling Center provides a confidential, supportive environment where students may discuss personal and academic concerns and work toward making positive changes in thoughts, feelings, behaviors and relationships. Services include mental health assessments, brief counseling, referrals to Iowa Central and community resources, consultations for concerned persons, including faculty and staff, psycho-educational programming/information, and more.
