I want to thank you for visiting our Vice Presidential search website. Iowa Central Community College is conducting a comprehensive, nationwide search to find the next Vice President of Instruction to join the Iowa Central family.
It is the philosophy of the College to be the “community college of choice”, one that is quick to address the changing need of our constituents. Iowa Central provides a flexible program of study offering face to face, online, evening, and weekend programs to accommodate all types of learners.
What makes Iowa Central special is the exceptional learning expererience that the whole Iowa Central family embraces. Students comment it is a “student first” environment from the moment they first walk onto campus to the final walk across the graduation stage. Our faculty members combine academic rigor with real world experiences to engage student learning.
As a relatively new member of the Fort Dodge community, I can testify that the new aquatic center and the extensive trail system have enhanced the quality of life for residents and our students. Additional planned expansion of the trail system will further connect the College to the Fort Dodge community. Fort Dodge has proved to be a very welcoming and progressive community. The community and the College enjoy strong business and industry partnerships and the future looks bright. This fall the city announced that the Agricultural Park will offer new job opportunities with the addition of Cargill and CJ. It is an exciting time for the community and the College as we continue to work together to prepare the workforce for these new companies.
