Are you looking for a place to relax and study on campus? Well, the Student Resource Center (SRC) is the place to learn and have fun. The large, open commons area of the SRC boasts plenty of seating and table space for studying and hanging out. Use some downtime to play pool or ping pong with friends as well. Iowa Central also utilizes this space for hosting events such as comedians, hypnotists, and live music. Students can grab a quick bite to eat at the Triton Zone for some fuel before class.
Academic Resource Center
Located in the same complex as the SRC, the Academic Resource Center (ARC) provides all of the academic resources that students need to succeed. Areas of support include the following:

Applied Science and Technology Building
The Applied Science and Technology (AST) building hosts several different programs, from agriculture to the student-run radio station. One service in AST that students may not be aware of is one provided by the Iowa Central Dental Hygiene Clinic. This program offers free dental examination, X-rays, teeth cleaning, and athletic mouth guards. Students can contact the clinic to schedule an appointment by calling 515-574-1327.
AST is also the location of Iowa Central's college nurse and counseling services. Both of these resources are free for enrolled students with the aim to help ensure everyone at the college stays healthy, both mentally and physically. Nurse appointments can be scheduled by calling 515-574-1047, and for counseling, students can call 515-574-1051.
This building also houses the Triton Food Pantry. It is entirely free for students to use and has non-perishable food items. Each Friday, the pantry stocks bread and pastries. Food donations are also accepted. For more information about this program, contact the college nurse or mental health counselor.
Additionally, the college’s career services can be found in the AST building. There, students can access a wide range of career-related resources from locating internship and job opportunities to networking and resume development.
Triton Bookstore
Situated in the Student Resource Center, the Triton Bookstore is the go-to place to purchase books and course supplies. Along with essentials for class, goods such as stamps, college-branded clothing, personal supplies, and more can be found here. Students can also buy many of these items online by going to the Iowa Central Bookstore website.
